A Little up date on things...

Right well, I haven't been blogging as much as I would have hoped to recently... I have been working a lot recently so haven't had as much time as I have wanted at all to make jewellery etc. But I am ever so excited as this weekend I am going on a lampwork beginners weekend... its been a long time coming considering my gorgeous boyfriend bought me a beginners kit last September!!! I was starting to get the hang of it around that time last year, but It became such an expensive hobbie that I just could afford to be making crappy wonky beads... so I promised myself that I would get myself lessons to be able to start doing it properly. So the course is a 2 day/12 hour full beginners grounding course. It is held at Diana East's Studio, and the course is with Sally Carver (Red Hot Sal) and Ema Kelly (Duck in a Bucket) AND IM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!

Also what I am very excited about it..... GETTING MY EXTENSIONS BACK TOMORROW :-D So watch this space... will post a photo sometime to show off my new locks :-D

What a gloooomy day...

What a rubbish day.... rain... wind...! YUCK! Don't you ever find that when the weather has been truly great and then suddenly turns BAD you're mood goes BAD. Well it had been one of those days today... I went food shopping, and then tidyed some stuff... and that pretty much all I have to write about!!!! So when I popped over the beads by laura's blog earlier and saw all those beautiful lemony things from her etsy faves I decided to do a bit of my own etsy searching, which sure did cheer me up!!!! :-D Heres all the lovelies I found!!!!

Swarovski Sparkle...!

Well, since I've moved back in with my parents, my wonderful mum lets me borrow her amazing camera to take brill photos of the stuff I make... and as we now share a "craft room" I seem to have an endless supply off scrap booking paper to use as a background for my jewellery. It's great!!!! Here is a photo I took today of a pair of earrings that I made when I first started making jewellery, about 5/6 months ago... and now I can appreciate them all over again!!! Hopefully you guys can appreciate them too!!! now on sale on my website.

I am making quite a collection of pendants with a focal at the bottom and a mass of swarovski crystal as a cluster!!!! I just can't get enough of the sparkling!!! And along with my swarovski crystal cluster obsession I also have a MASSIVE soft spot for the magic that is murano... can't get enough!!! Well, I haven't written for a few days as everything has been totally hectic with the move and all that... I haven't made anything new, but I wanted to show you all these 2 cute children's bracelets I have made.

Just had to make Jewellery...!

Well, at present I'm in the middle of a big move from living with my boyfriend to living with my boyfriend... and the rents! We have moved in with them to 1) get out of debt (yawn!) and 2) to save up some money so that we can both learn to drive and I can hopefully get going with my crazy obsession for lampwork beads... hopefully some time soon I will be able to feed this habit by actually making some myself...!!!! Oh I can't wait!!!!
Anyway, It's my day of today and all my Jewellery making stuff is at my parents, so I had come home for the day to make lots of new lovely Jewellery! :-D Here are couple of things I have made... they will be on my website very soon!!!

Had a bit of an experiment today after making a new pendant out of Candy Pink Quartz, White Fresh Water Pearls, and Swarovski Crystals. I have experimented with different backgrounds. Please let me know what ones look the best (after the white background one -which I absolutely love!) cuz I need a bit of feedback :-D
